TWB's Starter Stitch Society - Beginning Beginners' Crochet Class (Dishcloths)

Learn to crochet with us at The Woolly Bulldog! 

In this class students will learn how to crochet a dishcloth. 🫧

We will cover:

-the mechanics of crochet and the fabric it produces
-the general gist of a crochet pattern and guidance over learning a new "language"
-different yarn weights and fibres and blends used and how hook size plays a part
-how to start a foundation chain and how to make a single crochet stitch (SC) and half double crochet stitch (HDC) so that you can crochet your very own dishcloth!

This class takes place in person at The Woolly Bulldog, located at:

#4 - 9110 Glover Road in Fort Langley, BC

This class is one 2 hour long session and being offered on the following date and time:

  • Monday, June 15, 2026 between 5:30pm-7:30pm

All required materials are included in your registration!

Meet the Instructor:


This class is taught by Angel, the founder and proprietor of the shop herself. Nicknamed "MacGyver" at one point by an old roommate, Angel is a true "jill-of-all-trades" known for her warm and friendly demeanor and "will-do, can-do" spirit. While embracing her adult ADHD diagnosis in recent years, Angel enthusiastically approaches creativity and community building with empathy, flexibility and humour. Her goal is helping others feel confident and capable in their making journeys.

TWB's Class Registration & Cancellation Policy

We’re so glad and feel honoured to have you join us around the worktable. Our classes are intentionally small to create a welcoming, hands-on experience which means each seat matters.

Please kindly review the following before registering:

Registration

• Full payment is required to reserve your seat.
• Spaces are limited and filled on a first-come basis.
• Your registration is confirmed once payment is received.

Student Cancellations

Because class sizes are small and preparation begins in advance,

Cancellations made 72+ hours before class:
You may receive store credit for the full class amount.

Cancellations made less than 72 hours before class:
We are unable to offer refunds or credit.

If you’re unable to attend you may transfer your seat to a friend - just let us know in advance. :)

Class Minimums

Some classes require a minimum number of students to run.
If minimum enrollment is not met you will receive a full refund or the option to transfer into a future class. We will notify you as early as possible if a class needs to be rescheduled.

Missed Classes

Please kindly note we’re unable to offer refunds, credits or make-up sessions for missed classes.

Supplies

Materials are typically not included unless noted.
We’re always happy to help you choose the right yarn and tools in advance (and we offer a class supply discount in most cases!)
